The Center for Educational Adventure would like to recognize The Residence Inn - Amelia Island. This hotel recently received TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence. The Certificate of Excellence is awarded to approximately 10 percent of accomodations listed on Trip Advisor and honors those with outstanding traveler reviews on the web site.
The Residence Inn-Amelia Island also received a Diamond Award for 2011 from the Marriott hotel brand for providing the ultimate in home-away-from-home accommodations. This is Marriott's highest level of distinction. The honor was shared with only two other Residence Inn properties in the United States.
The Residence Inn-Amelia Island is home to several of our Road Scholar programs including: Program #11603: Amelia and Cumberland Islands and the Okefenokee Swamp and Program #14147: Birding on Amelia and Cumberland Islands and in the Okefenokee Swamp.
The first two Road Scholar programs of the 2012 fall season operated by CEA began this past Sunday, September 16. They are Program #1384 and #19403.
