CEA has a great group of Road Scholar participants in Charleston, SC this week for the Culinary Program. This is a first class program run by first class individuals who are masters of their trade. This program will be held again in the fall beginning on 10/20/2013.  The program stays at the historic Mills House Hotel which is located in the heart of the historic district. It's not too late to sign up for the Road Scholar's Epworth Choral Program.

Join singers from across the U.S. and Canada in an exciting choral adventure at historic St. Simons Island in Georgia. Learn choral techniques and concepts while exploring both sacred and secular works. The repertoire includes a mix of styles and composers and celebrates classical, Broadway and contemporary genres. This popular course culminates in a performance featuring scores by choral masters such as Verdi, Bach and Mozart, as well as Copland, Gershwin, Weber and more.

Highlights

• Participants will enjoy enthusiastic instruction and leadership from the musical director.
• Explore St. Simons on an afternoon field trip that includes Christ Church, the Avenue of Oaks and Pier Village with historical narration.
• Perform as a solo or group act the final morning in a Road Scholar version of an "American Idol" presentation — a lighthearted, fun, farewell event!
